This policy explains what information Kanvas collects, why, and the choices you have. It works together with our Terms of Service.

1. Information we collect

  • Account details you give us: your name, email address and password (stored only in hashed form).
  • Project data you and your team add, such as contacts, deals, products, orders, files and messages.
  • Usage and device data, such as the pages you open, your browser type and your IP address, used to keep the service secure and working.

2. How we use it

  • to create your account and sign you in;
  • to run the features you use and show your data to your team;
  • to send service emails, like password resets and invitations;
  • to prevent abuse, fix problems and improve Kanvas.

3. AI features

When you use AI agents or assistants, the content you give them is sent to the AI model provider configured for your project so it can produce a response. Only the information needed for that request is shared.

4. When we share information

  • with service providers that host and operate Kanvas for us, under confidentiality obligations;
  • with other services you choose to connect, such as email or calendars;
  • when the law requires it, or to protect people from harm.

5. Cookies

Kanvas uses cookies that are needed to keep you signed in, remember the project and company you are working in, and save preferences like the color scheme. We don't use them for advertising.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. When a project or account is deleted, its data is removed or anonymized within a reasonable period.

7. Security

We protect data with encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

8. Your choices

You can update your profile from your account settings at any time. You can also ask for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete your account.

9. Children

Kanvas is a business tool and isn't meant for children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and its date, and tell you about significant changes in advance.
